During this virtual lab classroom, teachers will ponder if there is such a thing as being neurotypical, or are we all neurodiverse? We continually aim to meet the needs of all learners in our Integrated Collaborative classes, and to promote peer-to-peer opportunities for our young people to question, challenge, and connect with one another. But how much do our students understand about our Exceptional Learners, and how much do our Exceptional Learners understand about themselves? Learn how a diverse school community is bringing all students together. Participants will dive deep in hands-on activities to discover the abilities of neurodiverse trailblazers such as Dr. Temple Grandin, a prominent author and speaker on both autism and animal behavior. Participants will cultivate understanding and compassion inside their school spaces, and out in their communities. We will hear from the voices of students via taped interviews about their experiences
