About

The AP for All Initiative was created in 2015, alongside Mayor Bill de Blasio as part of the Equity and Excellence for All Agenda, to ensure that by 2021 students in every high school in New York City will have access to at least five Advanced Placement (AP) courses.

Learn About the Office of Equity and Access

The AP for All initiative is under the Office of Equity and Access (OEA). OEA addresses the access and opportunity gaps which exist among historically underserved students. The office develops and manages support services and programs to support New York City’s students. The work is entrenched in the desire to provide all families with necessary access to the full landscape of a high-quality education.
