Join us for a virtual lab classroom intervisitation and feedback session aligned with CRSE that focuses on the Argument-Talk Protocol for Engaging & Challenging Students.
The Argument-Talk Protocol is a tool that can be used to engage all students in the argument development process. This protocol tasks students with developing an original, evidence-based claim, engaging in debate with their peers, and refuting/rebutting a counterclaim. Join me as I explain the protocol and showcase how I used the protocol with a group of SWDs and ELLs in their reading of Zora Neale Hurston’s Their Eyes Were Watching God. (Hosted by Gordon Van Owen)
