College Board’s AP Capstone program consists of AP Seminar – a foundational course that engages students in cross-curricular conversations that explore the complexities of real-world topics of their choosing, and AP Research where students design, plan, and implement a yearlong investigation to address a research question.
Participating in AP Capstone can help students:
- Stand out to colleges in the application process.
- Develop key academic skills they’ll use in college and beyond.
- Become self-confident, independent thinkers and problem solvers.
