Marisol Manríquez-Weiner

Marisol Manríquez-Weiner is a content area specialist in Spanish with AP for All. Before working as an educational administrator and a school-based instructional administrator, she was a Chilean-born Spanish teacher for almost three decades, working in Chile, Michigan, and New York. In Chile she earned a BA with a major in Spanish, another BA in Secondary Education, and two post-titles in theater management. Additionally, from US institutions, she earned an MA in Spanish from Wayne State University, an MSED in Educational Leadership from Baruch College, and a bilingual certificate from Queens College.

Marisol has a very strong connection to her Chilean and LatinX heritage. Her professional interests and areas of expertise include inclusive pedagogies and culturally responsive teaching, support for multilingual learners, bilingual education, curriculum development, and Spanish language and literature.
