I am a science content area specialist with AP for All. I have 13 years’ experience teaching college level Biology, environmental science and chemistry to high school students and also supporting teachers in writing science curricula. During my doctoral research, I developed and implemented more rigorous, multi modal science initiatives that better engage students who have not always responded well to traditional modes of teaching and my area of research and passion is culturally relevant pedagogy in K-12 STEM education. I’m looking forward to working with you this year.
