Teachers will review lesson plans and student work for several different discussion protocols – dueling discussions, speed-dating, save the last word, and musical chairs discussions. We will discuss the power of protocols to increase student engagement and ownership over their learning. Teachers will work to create their own lesson using a new discussion protocol, and we will engage in a peer feedback protocol to refine our lesson plans. (Hosted by Sarah Bickens).
